John Kotzur Managing Partner
I work closely with my clients to deliver results and outcomes that make a real difference to their business and personal goals.
I am an energetic, passionate and resourceful commercial advisor with a proven record of strategy development and managing growth and risk to deliver sustainable improvements to my clients’ businesses. I have extensive practical experience with many clients, across a diverse range of industries and use high-level problem-solving skills, to deliver quality service to my clients over a large range of issues. I work across a diverse range of industries with a passion in agribusiness (with clients across the farm, feedlot and abattoir spectrum), manufacturing and mining services.
I have a broad range of accounting, taxation and business management experience with commercial businesses. My deep knowledge of the agribusiness, manufacturing and mining services industries was gained through working with premier primary producers including intensive agriculture and service providers.
In addition, I have a keen interest in the rapidly growing and advancing ICT sector, and served as Chairman of the progressive unlisted public company Shortcuts Software, overseeing an 8 year period of rapid business growth before successfully negotiating the sale to a North American private equity group.
I proudly provide board advisory services to numerous clients with the right balance of financial rigour, risk management, thought leadership and commercial acumen.
At home, I enjoy life with my family and have a passion for fitness, as a competitive athlete regularly competing in triathlons, long distance road cycling events and even Tough Mudder, (the last often alongside my equally enthusiastic clients!).
