(Senior) Audit & Assurance Manager, KHT

Our Audit & Assurance team in Finland is expanding to support our growing portfolio of international and Finnish clients. We collaborate closely with Forvis Mazars teams across Europe and beyond, providing seamless audit delivery for global groups and Nordic and local clients.

We are now seeking an (Senior) Audit & Assurance Manager, KHT to join our Helsinki office and play a key role in expanding our service offering as well as delivering high quality audit engagements in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

As an Audit Manager, you will lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and act as a trusted advisor for both clients and colleagues. Your responsibilities include:

Audit Delivery & Quality

• Lead audit engagements, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality work.
• Plan audit approaches and perform risk assessments, tailoring your strategy to each client.
• Manage the full audit cycle, from planning to final reporting and closure.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
• Support team development through continuous feedback and on-the-job training.

Client Collaboration

• Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain long lasting client relationships based on trust and service excellence.
• Coordinate with other Forvis Mazars teams (tax, outsourcing, advisory) to provide a seamless client experience.

Technical & Regulatory Expertise

• Stay up to date on audit standards, accounting regulations (IFRS / Finnish GAAP), and emerging industry developments.
• Provide guidance to clients on accounting and reporting matters, including complex or technical issues.

What are we looking for?

An agile and business as well as people-oriented audit professional with an international mind-set and the following competences, qualities and qualifications:

• A recognized audit qualification KHT/JHT.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and accounting frameworks.
• Commercial understanding and strong experience in leading and developing teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish.
• Strong sense of ownership of duties and high levels of responsibility to deliver on promises.
• Ability to lead engagement teams, coach colleagues, and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, high-quality judgement and decisiveness, a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
