Our Audit & Assurance team in Finland is expanding to support a growing portfolio of international and Finnish clients. We collaborate closely with Forvis Mazars teams across Europe and beyond, providing seamless audit delivery for global groups and Nordic and local clients.

We are now seeking an Audit Junior to join our Helsinki office and play a key role in delivering high‑quality audit engagements in a dynamic and multicultural environment. As an Audit Junior, you will be part of a growing team committed to quality, to technical excellence and to adding value to our clients daily. You will gain hands-on experience of the full audit cycle while developing your technical skills and professional judgement in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Participating in statutory audits under IFRS and/or local GAAP,

·         Performing audit procedures and substantive testing for financial statement areas,

·         Preparing audit documentation and working papers in line with firm methodology,

·         Supporting seniors and managers during audit planning and fieldwork,

·         Communicating with client personnel on routine audit matters,

·         Contributing to a high standard of audit quality and professional conduct.

What are we looking for? 

An agile and business as well as people-oriented audit professional with an international mindset and strong technical grounding. You bring:

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field

·         Strong motivation to start a career in audit,

·         Basic understanding of IFRS, local GAAP and audit principles,

·         Ability to think critically, solve problems and share knowledge with others.

·         Reliable and good analytical skills.

·         Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well in a team

·         Good communication skills in verbal and written English and Finnish; Swedish is an advantage, but not mandatory depending on client portfolio.
