Forvis Mazars in Mauritius is actively recruiting an Accountant to join its Finance department. We are seeking for individuals ideally having +5 years of experience in Finance department, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to management.
The individual will be actively involved in:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Responsible for ensuring internal controls for financial reporting are being respected;
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns; and
- Perform budget variance analysis.
Qualifications and experience
- ACCA or partly ACCA qualified;
- Keen eye for detail and analytical mind;
- Well versed with MRA statutory regulations;
- Good IT and reporting skills;
- Experience with NetSuite ERP will be an advantage;
- Promotes the firm’s values and beliefs,
- demonstrating integrity and maintaining an ethical stance, using flexibility and tact to express views as necessary.
