Semi Senior/ Senior Accountant

As part of the role, the Seniors would be expected to:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliation
• Preparation of VAT computation and filing via MNS
• Computation of TDS workings and filing via MNS
• Prepare and submit annual TDS
• Preparation and filing of financial summary
• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Prepare schedules for audit purposes
• Perform analytical review of financial statements
• Reconcile VAT return against annual Turnover
• Monthly filing of PRGF, CSG and PAYE returns
• Prepare and update Fixed Asset Register
• Prepare VAT computation
• Prepare and compute annual allowance schedule
• Prepare invoice on a timely manner
• Debtors chasing and recovery on time

Qualifications and Experience

• ACCA qualified or partly qualified;
• Good understanding of Accounting Frameworks (IFRS);
• Analytical mind, accurate and attention to details;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Possess positive “can do” attitude to challenges and agility to multitask effectively across competing priorities;
• Promotes the firm’s values and beliefs, demonstrating integrity and maintaining an ethical stance, using flexibility and tact to express views as necessary
