Senior|Payroll

To manage the Payroll Department deliverables; and to provide remuneration, consulting and payroll related administration services to clients.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the payroll team, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
  • Oversee payroll projects and administration.
  • Verify and approve timesheets, payroll submissions, and final payroll data with accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor payroll deliverables daily to guarantee timely completion.
  • Support client onboarding, risk assessment, and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget and variance analysis.
  • Issuance of internal payroll summary report for accounting purposes.
  • Manage invoicing.
  • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the payroll-software.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education & Professional Background
    •  Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client portfolios independently.
    • Deep understanding of labour laws, tax regulations and social security contributions.
    • Proficiency in MS office and experience with the ‘Payroll Mauritius’ software would be an advantage.
