Forvis Mazars celebrates the launch of our Panama office

On 21 May 2025, Forvis Mazars celebrated the opening of its new office in Panama with a cocktail reception that brought together over 100 guests, including business leaders, diplomatic representatives, and members of the Group team.

The opening of our office in Panama marked a milestone in the firm’s strategic expansion in Latin America and represents an opportunity to continue building strong partnerships that drive business development in the region.

The launch celebration drew a high-level crowd from both the public and private sectors. Attendees included Aude de Amorim, French Ambassador to Panama; Astrid Abrego, Panama Vice Minister of Foreign Trade; Essie Mastellari, Panama Director of Investmentsas well as Camille Four and Christian Saphore, respectively President and Director of the French Chamber of Commerce in Panama.

The evening began with welcoming remarks from Carlos Molano, Country Leader in Colombia, who played a pivotal role in the opening of the Panama office. Looking back on the journey, Carlos said:

“I am extremely grateful to everyone at Forvis Mazars who has contributed to launching our operations in Panama. This has truly been a team effort and it is incredibly rewarding to celebrate this special moment with our friends and clients.”

Pascal Jauffret, Group CEO and a key driver in the launch of our office in Panama, shared a few words on the future leadership in the country: 

“I am confident that Juan Esteban will lead our team well and help us become a trusted advisor for businesses looking to capture opportunities in the country and beyond.”.

Astrid Abrego, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, reaffirmed: 

“The arrival of Forvis Mazars strengthens our business ecosystem and supports our goal of positioning Panama as the preferred destination for forward-looking companies.”

Finally, Juan Esteban Sanín, Country Leader in Panama, concluded by emphasizing the strategic value of the country: “This is a significant milestone in the consolidation of our regional presence: Panama is a strategically located country at the heart of global trade. We are excited about what lies ahead and deeply grateful to our clients for their trust.”
