Robert Mukiindo Head of Finance and Outsourcing

Robert doubles as the Head of Finance as well as the Head of the Outsourcing department at Forvis Mazars BRJ, where he provides strategic leadership over the firm’s overall financial management and outsourced accounting and reporting services. He oversees the development and execution of business plans, departmental budgets, work plans, cashflow planning and forecasting, and the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports submitted to Forvis Mazars Group Finance, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong internal controls.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Kyambogo University, a programme that equips graduates with strong skills in financial reporting, management accounting, taxation, auditing and the use of technology in modern finance functions. Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR), and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), reflecting his senior standing in the regional and international accountancy profession.

With over 20 years of experience in finance leadership across professional services and the private sector, including previous roles at PwC and similar positions in Uganda and Rwanda, he brings deep expertise in grant management, financial control and multi-jurisdictional accounting. His core strengths include strategic financial planning, budget management, cashflow optimisation, grant and donor fund accountability, and the design and implementation of robust financial control environments, supported by strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication and the ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing finance and outsourcing teams.
