Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee audit engagements from initial planning through to completion
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure trust and satisfaction
- Supervise, coach and mentor audit teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Identify key risks and provide actionable, practical recommendations for improvement
- Ensure full compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Conduct timely reviews of audit files and financial statements to confirm adherence to ISA and the highest quality standards
- Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes and emerging best practices to enhance audit effectiveness
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- or Associate Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA)
Skills
- Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs)
- Well familiar with local UAE laws and free zones’ regulations relevant to financial audit
- Experience of working under deadlines
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office
