Business Development: Tenders & Compliance Trainee (x1)
Job description
- Assist with the preparation, compilation, and formatting of service tender proposals and all required returnable documents, and adherence to strict submission deadlines;
- Assist in coordinating the end‑to‑end tender process, including tracking outstanding items and ensuring all requirements are completed on time;
- Prepare and submit sensitive compliance and KYC documentation, following confidentiality protocols;
- Assist in liaising with compliance officers for independence and conflict‑of‑interest checks.
- Monitor and identify new tender adverts from multiple sources—Government Gazette, newspapers, procurement portals, and online platforms;
- Follow up proactively with internal stakeholders to collect required documentation, signatures, and approvals within tight timeframes;
- Assist in data analysis, including tracking tender performance and submission volumes;
- Assist in brand‑compliant templates and document layouts.
- Any other work assigned by the manager in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Prepare and submit a daily progress report to the manager, outlining completed tasks, pending actions, deadlines, risks, and follow-ups.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration & Procurement, Marketing or equivalent;
- Be able to work under high pressure without compromising quality;
- Self-driven and quick learner;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Must be very detail-oriented & accountable;
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite is necessary.
- Flexible team player.
