Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Shunsuke was a partner at KPMG AZSA LLC serving large global companies and spent five years on assignment at KPMG New York office where he provided audit and advisory services to companies including those listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He specializes in the IFRS and US GAAP audits in accordance with the Japanese, AICPA and PCAOB auditing standards.
In addition to accounting advisory services such as IFRS implementation for global companies and cross-border corporate reorganizations, he supports clients across a broad range of areas including sustainability disclosure implementation, cross-border financing, internal control design and fraud investigations. Clients he has served vary from leading Japanese global manufacturers, trading companies and logistics companies to subsidiaries of foreign companies across various industries.
