Narissa Chen Partner, Head of Audit & Assurance

Narissa, a Chartered Accountant of Singapore, is the Head of Audit and Assurance and a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO). Having started her career in a Big 4 firm, Narissa has over 20 years of professional practice in audit and assurance as well as technical research.  Aside from her various in-house appointments, she was a member of ISCA’s Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee from 2019 to 2024 and has been a member of ISCA’s Financial Statements Review Advisory Panel since 2024. 

Leading the Technical and Training team at Forvis Mazars in Singapore, Narissa researches on how financial reporting standards can be relevantly and practically applied in different contexts. In addition to conducting local and cross-border technical reviews, Narissa also provides financial reporting advice. She contributes to internal and external technical publications, develops training materials and delivers sessions to local and international audience via live classroom, video conference or e-learning platforms in both English and Mandarin.

She possesses extensive experience in auditing companies of various sizes across diverse industries, including automotive, shipping, retail, manufacturing, trading and oil and gas services. Additionally, her portfolio covers investment holdings, technology, media and telecommunications. Beyond her involvement in Initial Public Offering (IPO) and financial due diligence projects, Narissa audits issuers listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
