Akira Koga Financial advisory, Partner
Akira Koga joined Forvis Mazars in Japan as a Partner in 2026 and serves as the Head of Corporate Finance and Valuation. He has more than 25 years of experience in domestic and cross-border M&A advisory services.
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, he was most recently Managing Director at Frontier Management, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of domestic and cross-border M&A advisory engagements. Before that, he worked in M&A advisory roles at SMBC Nikko Securities (Tokyo and Hong Kong), Sagent Advisors in the United States, Daiwa Securities America, Daiwa Securities SMBC, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
Mr. Koga holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from The Ohio State University. He is also a Certified Member Analyst (CMA) of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
