A graduate of Sciences Po (IEP), EM Lyon, and holder of an Executive MBA, Alain Chavance is a certified public accountant and statutory auditor. He began his career at Mazars in Paris in 1997. Partner since 2005, he has held various positions within the Lyon, Annecy, and Bordeaux offices before returning to Paris in 2019.

A member of the Executive Committee since 2012 and Chief Executive Officer and member of the Management Board since 2017, he is responsible for the development of our 40 regional offices and for institutional relations. Alain Chavance also serves as an executive of several Forvis Mazars subsidiaries in France. He is primarily involved in audit and advisory engagements for both listed and unlisted groups.

Within professional bodies, he has been elected since 2020 to the CRCC of Versailles and Centre, where he sits on the board, and to the National Council of the CNCC.
