Accountant AOS

Responsibilities:

· Preparation of income tax withholding challan and filing of 165(1)(Statement of withholding taxes filed voluntarily).
· Preparation of sales tax & sales tax on services returns.
· Preparation of tax deduction certificate u/s 165 (including salary) at the end of the tax year.
· Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office.
· Entering invoices into the accounts payable system
· Processing payments and filing while maintaining supplier records
· Checking and verifying invoices
· Preparing cheques for payment
· Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by their supervisor
· Perform GL reconciliation


Qualifications:
·    Bachelor’s degree in commerce or relevant field.
·    ACCA/CA background preferred.

Experience: 4 - 5 years of experience in accounts payable and tax.

Skills:
·    Decent understanding of tax and finance principles.
·    Experience of handling financials is a plus.
