David Resnick

David was appointed as a Partner at Forvis Mazars in 1984 after having served as an Audit Manager.

Experience

David completed a CTA course at the University of Cape Town and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1981.

He joined Baker Rabkin in 1976 as an article clerk and after completing his articles he joined the SADF, where he acted as the Auditor of various funds within the Army environment, continuing his career at Baker Rabkin on a part-time basis.  In 1983, after completing his service, David returned to Baker Rabkin (after various name changes now Forvis Mazars) on a full-time basis where he was appointed as an Audit Manager and later a Partner.

David’s current portfolio of clients and area of expertise consists of small to medium sized owner managed businesses, but he is not limited to this as he also consults for larger entities. He regards himself as a generalist, able to provide a variety of services to an extended client database.

In his personal capacity David has been and still is involved in numerous communal bodies. David has also served as the Treasurer of the UJC for 17 years, United Herzlia Schools for 5 years as well as The Susman Charitable Foundation and The Susman Committee.

He also serves as trustee and honorary treasurer of the ORT-Tech Trust, a position he has held for the last 10 years.
