Professional Background

Hervé Hélias is the Chairman of Forvis Mazars Group and Chairman of the Forvis Mazars Global Network Board, playing a central role in the governance and strategic direction of the global organization. He joined Mazars in 1986, immediately after graduating from HEC Paris, one of Europe’s leading business schools.

Over more than 30 years of leadership within the firm, he has held several key executive positions and contributed significantly to the international growth and transformation of the organization. As an Audit Partner, he signed major accounts, including leading listed groups such as BNP Paribas.

He later served as Global Head of Banking (2005–2009), followed by Head of the Global Public Interest Entities (PIE) Business Unit (2009–2012). From 2012 to 2016, he acted as both Managing Partner of Mazars in France and Group Co-CEO, before becoming CEO of the Mazars Group in 2016.

In 2024, following the creation of Forvis Mazars, he became Chairman of the Group and of the Global Network Board, overseeing the governance of the integrated global structure formed by Mazars and Forvis.

Beyond his executive roles, Hervé Hélias is a key figure in talent development within the firm. He is one of the founders of Mazars University, reflecting his long-standing commitment to talent development, diversity, and professional excellence.
