Upcoming EU Call: Digitalisation of SME Business Operations
The publication of the Call “Support for the Digitalisation of SME Business Operations in the Process of Industrial Transition of Croatian Regions” is expected soon.
The Call is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with a registered head office or branch in Pannonian, Adriatic or Northern Croatia (by the date of publication of the Call), with the aim of modernising and improving production processes through significant investments in digital technological solutions, equipment and systems.
Total available funding: The total amount of non-repayable grants available under the Call is EUR 30,000,000, allocated into three regions:
- Adriatic Croatia – EUR 8,000,000
- Pannonian Croatia – EUR 16,000,000
- Northern Croatia – EUR 6,000,000
The minimum amount per project is EUR 30,000, and the maximum is EUR 120,000.
Type and intensity of support: Support will be awarded in the form of de minimis aid, with the co-financing intensity ranging between 50% and 85%, depending on the size of the enterprise.
Non-repayable grants will be awarded for activities related to the procurement and implementation of digital technological solutions, equipment and systems in the production and/or business processes of enterprises, as well as for consultancy services for the preparation of digital transformation plans. Eligible cost categories for co-financing include the procurement of software, IT and network equipment, software licences and cloud services, employee training related to digital solutions, as well as the development of digital strategies and plans.
Enterprises with a registered office in the City of Zagreb are not eligible, unless the project investment relates to their (registered) branch in Adriatic, Pannonian or Northern Croatia.
Deadline for submission of project proposals: Indicatively, 28 May 2025.
