HR Assistant
Job purpose
To provide administrative support to the human resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily HR functions such as record-keeping, recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and employee communications
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing complete HR administration, HR databases and compliance;
- Maintaining personnel and confidential files;
- Handling annual and sick leave records, internal documents, supporting payroll activities;
- Using HR software for operations;
- Handling employee learning administration and registry (certifications, exams, etc.);
- Communication with external institutions (e.g. Ministry of Labour, service providers…);
- Assisting HR team in recruitment, training, performance management and retention;
- Assisting in onboarding of new hires;
- Foster and maintain employee relationships and;
- Any ad hoc duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field;
- Experience in recruiting, training, or organizational development would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of MS Office and ATS would be an advantage;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and;
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
