Key responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with Omani corporate tax, VAT and WHT regulations, including filings and payments
• Manage tax audits and correspondence with the Oman Tax Authority
• Provide tax advisory and planning support on business transactions and group structuring
• Monitor tax law changes and advise management on their financial and operational impact

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Professional qualification, such as CPA, ACCA or CA is strongly preferred
• 7–10 years of tax experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Proven experience in Omani taxation, including corporate tax, VAT and Withholding Tax

Skills

• Good understanding of international tax principles and GCC tax frameworks
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
