December 17, 2024: Forvis Mazars Group (formerly Mazars), the international partnership providing audit, tax, and advisory services, announced today the appointments of Hervé Hélias as Chairman and Pascal Jauffret as CEO, as part of the evolution of its governance structure.
  • Hervé Hélias re-elected as Chairman
  • Pascal Jauffret appointed as CEO
  • New governance framework supports sustainable growth and agility

Under the new model, effective immediately, governance, strategy definition, and oversight of key matters will be entrusted to the Group Governance Board (GGB), with a Group Executive Committee (GEC) responsible for leadership, decision implementation, and the daily execution of the Group’s strategy. As Chairman, Hélias will lead the GGB, while Jauffret will head the GEC as CEO.

These changes align with the firm’s strategy to drive business growth, strengthen operational integrity, and sustain its position as one of the world’s top ten firms.

Chairman Hervé Hélias stated:
“Responsibility is one of our core values, and as we have developed and strengthened our business, we decided to update our governance framework. This will allow us to continue growing our partnership as a unique and resilient force in the markets and communities where we work and live.”

He added:
“I am thrilled that Pascal is taking on the role of CEO. With his extensive international experience, I can think of no one better to bring our strategy to life.”

Commenting on his appointment, Pascal Jauffret said:
“I have worked alongside Hervé for over 25 years, including the past five years as part of the Group Executive Board. I am deeply honored to have been chosen for this new role and am excited to drive our strategy forward, fostering long-term growth and success in our areas of focus while providing a bright future for our people.”

Hélias joined Mazars (now Forvis Mazars) as a recent graduate in 1986 and has held some of the firm’s most demanding leadership roles. He was appointed Managing Partner in France and Group Co-CEO in 2012, before becoming CEO in 2016. He has served as Chairman and CEO of the Group Executive Board since 2018.

Jauffret began his career as an auditor and has been with the firm since 1997. He has held various leadership positions, including Managing Partner of Italy, head of M&A, and has led the firm’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. He has been a member of the Group Executive Board since 2019.

Hélias concluded:
“The history of our firm has been one of collective and sustained growth. I firmly believe we have never been better positioned than we are today to offer exciting and rewarding opportunities to our people and to provide the exceptional multidisciplinary expertise that our clients and the market demand.”
