Professional Background

Christophe Berrard is a Partner at Forvis Mazars and a member of the Mazars France Executive Committee, responsible for the Financial Services sector (Banking, Insurance, and Real Estate). He joined Mazars in 2001 and has been a Partner since 2010.

A graduate of CentraleSupélec and the University of Sydney–Wollongong, he is a Statutory Auditor with a strong engineering background that initially led him to focus on the industrial sector, particularly in the defense and aeronautics industries, where he worked on audits of major international groups.

He subsequently developed strong expertise in the insurance sector, with a focus on risk modeling and actuarial approaches to insurance provisioning. He completed additional actuarial training at the Centre for Actuarial Studies – Sorbonne University, strengthening his technical expertise in complex financial environments.

In 2017, he took responsibility for the Insurance Audit sector, combining audit and advisory work across France and internationally. Since 2020, he has overseen the broader Financial Services practice at Executive Committee level, helping to drive strategy and development across banking, insurance, and real estate activities.

Throughout his career, Christophe Berrard has also played an active role in human resources and talent development, contributing to recruitment, team structuring, and career development initiatives across the firm.

He has also contributed to academic teaching at CentraleSupélec and HEC Paris.
