Tomor Akos Partner, Transfer Pricing Services

Ákos Tomor is a Partner at Forvis Mazars Hungary and leading the transfer pricing team, with over a decade of experience advising multinational groups on complex transfer pricing matters. He joined the firm in 2018, bringing a strong international background gained at both professional services and multinational corporate environments.
Ákos began his professional career in the transfer pricing team of KPMG Consulting Ltd, where he built solid foundations in transfer pricing advisory and compliance. He continued his career at American International Group (AIG), working within the global transfer pricing team. In this role, he was responsible for transfer pricing matters of AIG subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions worldwide. This position allowed him to gain significant exposure to the insurance business from a transfer pricing perspective, and to develop in-depth knowledge of industry-specific transfer pricing challenges, regulatory expectations, and market practices across different jurisdictions.
As a Partner at Forvis Mazars, Ákos is involved in delivering complex transfer pricing advisory engagements, including support in tax audits, as well as the submission and management of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs). He has broad experience across all industries; however, his transactional expertise is particularly strong in financial transactions, such as intercompany loans, guarantees, insurance and reinsurance arrangements, where he has extensive hands-on experience.
Ákos is a chartered tax advisor and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Taxation and Law from King’s College London, which he completed with Distinction. He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of German and Spanish.
