Forvis Mazars announces a new Group CIO
Based in London, United Kingdom, Rachel will lead the global technology and digital solutions team, overseeing the continued modernisation of technology platforms across the business, strengthening risk and resilience capabilities, and advancing the use of data and AI to deliver further value for its people and its clients.
With more than two decades of experience leading complex, large-scale technology transformation programmes across infrastructure, applications, cyber security and data in South Africa and the United Kingdom, Rachel has worked with boards, regulators and executive teams to deliver secure, scalable and commercially aligned technology strategies.
Welcoming Rachel, Florence Sardas, Group Chief Transformation Officer, commented: “We’re delighted to have Rachel on board. She joins at a pivotal moment for Forvis Mazars as technology, data and AI have become fundamental to how we collaborate, innovate and deliver value to clients. From our first conversations, it was clear that Rachel’s leadership will help us strengthen our global technology ecosystem, empower our people with the right capabilities and tools, and continue building a secure, connected and future-ready organisation.”
Commenting on her appointment, Rachel said: "Forvis Mazars' reputation of excellence, integrity and global collaboration is what attracted me to the role, but it was the people and the shared ambition that cemented the opportunity. I'm looking forward to working with teams across the world to strengthen the capabilities that will create lasting value for Forvis Mazars and its clients. As technology continues to reshape business, we have a growing responsibility to help them anticipate and adapt to change and ultimately prepare them for what's next."
Rachel joined Forvis Mazars as CIO on 27 July 2026.
