Global Sustainable Supply Chain Day, Advancing Responsible Procurement and Supply Chain Regulation Dialogue
Forvis Mazars participated in the 6th Annual Global Sustainable Supply Chain Pledge Day, hosted by the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) on April 24, 2026. The 24-hour global virtual event brought together over 5,000 supply chain leaders, sustainability experts, and decision-makers from around the world to exchange practical insights on building resilient and responsible supply chains.
The 2026 edition focused on key challenges shaping global supply chains, including strategic procurement, supply chain regulation, ESG reporting, AI-powered decarbonisation, and circular economy approaches.
Vali Marszalek, ESG Director at Forvis Mazars and ISCEA International Standards Board member, moderated three sessions addressing the evolving regulatory landscape and the role of procurement as a strategic lever for sustainability and risk management.
“Sustainable supply chains today require far more than compliance. They demand strategic decision-making, transparency across tiers, and the ability to anticipate regulatory and geopolitical risks,” Vali said. “Events such as the Global Sustainable Supply Chain Pledge Day are essential platforms for sharing real-world experience and translating sustainability commitments into operational practice.”
