Planting for tomorrow

Shining the spotlight on how our QC and RMT teams are stepping up in their own way. Their story is a reminder that team bonding can be meaningful and that even the simplest actions, done together, can leave a lasting mark.

Our quality & compliance and risk management teams recently took their bonding time outdoors —spending a purposeful day at City Sprouts, a rejuvenated urban farming community in the heart of Singapore. Under the blazing afternoon sun, 11 team members rolled up their sleeves and planted 10 trees, each one a living symbol of their contribution to a greener future.

“It wasn’t a walk in the park, digging into compacted soil under the heat took real teamwork. But the blisters and sore muscles were worth it. We came away not just with dirty hands, but a real sense of shared purpose.” – A teammate shared

This marks the second year the team has chosen to use their Forvis Mazars Appreciation Fund in a meaningful and impact-driven way — showing how a fund designed for team bonding can go further when guided by purpose. Their decision to turn a team activity into an act of environmental stewardship is a great example of how small choices can create lasting value.

And most importantly, it was fun. Because doing good doesn’t have to be serious — it can be joyful, energising and deeply rewarding, especially when done together.
