When purpose meets patriotism
On 5 September, Forvis Mazars in Singapore partnered with WE Circle to co-host a special SG60 fundraising dinner.
The evening was more than a celebration, it was a call to action that brought together close to 90 guests from the business and diplomatic communities to raise funds for three meaningful causes:
- Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society - providing free medical, TCM and dignified end-of-life support for elderly in need
- Fashion for Cancer - empowering cancer survivors through fashion-based rehabilitation and reintegration
- Myanmar Red Cross Society - delivering critical humanitarian aid to earthquake-stricken communities
The event was graced by His Excellency Darius Gaidys, Ambassador of Lithuania and Dr Tung Chen-yuan, Taipei Representative in Singapore, a testament to the shared sense of purpose that transcends borders, sectors and industries.
"This SG60 dinner exemplified how business and diplomacy can come together to create real, lasting impact. All in the spirit of giving back."
Purposeful keepsake: A tribute to inclusion
As a token of appreciation, a specially curated memento created by Junle, a talented young artist with autism behind Junle Font, was presented to partners and sponsors.
Forvis Mazars in Singapore has been supporting Junle’s creative journey since 2023, recognising the power of inclusive design and neurodiverse talent. By commissioning these keepsakes, we not only expressed our gratitude, but also our commitment to creating opportunities that celebrate courage, creativity and inclusion.
Each gift carried more than thanks. It carried a story of purpose.
From heartfelt speeches and shared reflection to beautifully plated dishes and meaningful mementoes, the evening brought to life our belief that doing good starts with coming together - and acting with intention.
