Experience

Bongiwe is the lead partner for Business Sustainability Strategy & Reporting and Human Resources Advisory service lines. Bongiwe specialises in the advisory to the board and C-Suite executives on ESG integration & performance, sustainability & integrated reporting, net zero strategic planning/decarbonisation, and value creation strategies. Having led on a global basis, Bongiwe has pragmatic solutions on multi jurisdictional regulations for reporting.

Bongiwe is a Registered Auditor, a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and a decarbonisation specialist.

Beyond South Africa, Bongiwe leads the Forvis Mazars’ sustainability strategy and reporting for the Africa Region.

Bongiwe is a Senior Associate of the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership. She serves as a member of the SAICA Sustainability Technical Committee. Given her passion for lifelong learning, Bongiwe often contributes as a guest lecturer for resident universities.

Bongiwe is an experienced non-executive director on select boards where her passion aligns, and she contributes on various platforms as a public speaker.
