Elizabeth Pretorius has been a Partner with Forvis Mazars from 1st March 2011.

Experience

Elizabeth’s career commenced with Forvis Mazars in 2005 as a Trainee Accountant and after a successful traineeship, she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2008.

After her traineeship she was seconded to the New York office Weiser LLP to perform audits of various local, and private entities, and on her return, she excelled through the ranks of Supervisor to Senior manager before being made partner in 2011. 

Elizabeth’s client portfolio includes local private sector audits as well as local subsidiaries of internationally listed groups.

Elizabeth’s keen interest in audit quality is demonstrated by her involvement with internal quality control reviews for the national practice and she has recently been appointed as a member of the Forvis Mazars national Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee.
