Farishma Mohamed is a Partner in Audit at Forvis Mazars, appointed effective 1 March 2026. Since joining the firm in 2015, she has built a distinguished career defined by technical excellence, consistent high performance, and strong leadership across the audit practice.

Over the course of her tenure, Farishma has led numerous complex audit engagements, earning a reputation for her disciplined delivery and deep technical insight. She has strengthened her leadership capabilities through the successful completion of the Manager Development Programme (MDP) and has contributed to the profession more broadly as a SAICA Assessor, demonstrating her commitment to developing future audit talent.

 In 2020, she gained valuable international exposure through a secondment to the United States, further broadening her global audit perspective.

Farishma’s impact extends well beyond her engagement responsibilities. She has played a pivotal role in national recruitment initiatives, helping elevate talent standards and assessment rigour within the firm. Additionally, her contributions to enhancing national audit quality checklists have supported improved execution consistency and alignment with regulatory expectations—directly reinforcing the firm’s national audit quality strategy.

With growing sector expertise, Farishma has developed a strong specialism in Financial Services, where she is known for her sector knowledge and thoughtful, methodical approach. In her new role as Partner, she will oversee and expand a dedicated Financial Services portfolio, contributing meaningfully to the strategic growth of this priority sector.
