Peter Platt Director - Corporate Finance

Experience

Peter Platt is a qualified Chartered Accountant who completed his Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2010 and joined Forvis Mazars as an Associate Director in April 2021. He took charge of the due diligence service line within the Corporate Finance team and his professional experience involves running of due diligence assignments from initial client interaction to execution of work, guidance of team members performing the work as well as final review of the deliverable prior to submission to the client. Peter also helps his clients who are engaged in the M&A cycle whether it be for a sell side mandate or for a client looking to raise capital.

Business development has been a key focus area of his and he has been engaged widely with various existing clients and many new clients in order to promote the Forvis Mazars brand and service offering.

Peter has also been responsible for training the team in the use of data analytics tools such as Power Query (within excel) and Power BI. These tools enable enhanced efficiencies in the analysis of data and provides the ability to work with larger data sets at a faster pace, as well as providing richer and deeper insights to our clients.
