Rochelle Murugan is a purpose-driven leader with over 15 years of experience at Forvis Mazars, currently serving as the Head of Audit for Forvis Mazars in South Africa and a member of the National Executive Committee. Her leadership is defined by a strong commitment to audit quality, people development, client service, and transformation within the profession.

Known for building trusted relationships, Rochelle partners with clients across industries to deliver tailored, high-impact audit solutions. She leads assurance engagements for JSE-listed entities and multinational groups, bringing a client-centric mindset, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of complex reporting environments.

Beyond client work, she has played a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of talent. During her tenure at Forvis Mazars, she has led graduate recruitment, facilitated technical training, and co-founded the National Women Empowerment Programme at South Africa—an initiative that continues to shape the future of female leadership in the profession.

At a continental level, Rochelle serves as the Diversity & Inclusion Leader for Mazars in Africa, where she drives inclusive initiatives that create opportunity, belonging, and shared success.

In 2020, she was named a SAICA Top 35 Under 35 finalist in recognition of her professional excellence, leadership, and contribution to the broader business.
