Susan Truter Partner - Audit

Susan is an Audit Partner with 20 years of audit experience. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Forvis Mazars in South Africa leading the Talent portfolio as well as the Real estate and construction sector group in South Africa. She served as a member of the Forvis Mazars in South Africa Governance Council up until August 2022.

Susan has acted as lead partner of clients such Stefanutti Stocks and Dipula Income Fund for a 5-year term. Her portfolio of clients as lead engagement partner includes: Excellerate Holdings Ltd, REImagine Property Fund and EnviroServe.

Experience

Susan is a JSE accredited, registered auditor and reporting accountant specialist and specialises in the audits of listed multi-nationals and larger private groups where group coordination is of the utmost importance. As real estate and construction sector leader for Mazars in South Africa her focus is large privately owned as well as Listed real estate and construction clients.

In her role as Head of Talent over the past several years, Susan has driven initiatives focused on integration, attracting and retaining top talent, and enhancing employee engagement and wellbeing.
