New ÖGK service hotline for data changes

The Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) has recently established a new nationwide service hotline for businesses. This hotline is available to provide support with the following matters:

• Application for a new or additional contribution account number;
• Application for insurance numbers for newly hired employees;
• Notification of changes to company master data (e.g. change of company name, change of address or other corporate law amendments); and
• Questions regarding powers of attorney.

Furthermore, the ÖGK has also introduced a new hotline for data-related inquiries from insured persons. This hotline provides support with the notification of name changes (e.g. following marriage), the addition of academic titles on the e-card, and the request for an insurance data extract.
