Director - Actuarial Services Miladys Buelvas

Miladys has over 20 years of professional experience working on actuarial audit and consulting projects for insurance companies, pension funds, mining companies, telecommunications companies, and the public sector.

She worked for 12 years at a consulting firm, where she was part of the Actuarial Advisory Services team, leading actuarial audit and consulting projects related to the accounting for employee benefit obligations in accordance with BR GAAP/IAS 19. She also worked on actuarial audit projects involving the technical reserves of insurance companies and pension funds.

She also participated in a project for a major Brazilian insurance company aimed at adapting reinsurance processes in light of market liberalization.

DEGREE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences from UPSA; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from IBMEC RJ; and a degree in Business Administration.
  • MBA in Controllership and Finance from UFF.
  • Master’s candidate in Accounting from UERJ
