Over 30 years of professional experience, including as a Partner in Audit, Assurance, and Advisory at Forvis Mazars in Brazil; 14 years at an Audit Company in São Paulo as Director of Capital Markets Transactions, specializing in IFRS/CPC, IFRS/CPC projects, and Financial Services Auditing (IFRS/CPC and BACEN); 8 years at other Audit Company located in Zurich, in Financial Services Auditing, and 10 years at banks and financial institutions in Brazil and Switzerland.

  • Specialist in complex IFRS/CPC topics (financial instruments, fair value, business combinations, loss of control and other transactions, consolidation, impairment, etc.).
    Extensive experience in auditing (ISA and PCAOB), assurance and consulting services (IFRS conversion, credit risk management assessment, etc.), and capital markets transactions, such as initial public offerings or debt offerings (CVM, SEC, Rule 144A, and Regulation S).
  • Experience in accounting and controllership for financial institutions and in the financial services sector, with a focus on accounting, controllership, and finance, as well as in the credit area (loans and financing, credit risk management, structured and project financing, etc.).
  • Registered as a Brazilian Accountant (CRC) and Auditor (CNAI: General, Listed Entities – CVM, Banks – BACEN, and Insurance Companies – SUSEP).
    Led various audit, assurance, and advisory engagements, as well as controllership teams, including team members up to the level of executive managers and specialists in IT, Risk Management, Tax, and Legal, including discussions on objectives and feedback on performance, development, and corrective actions. Experienced in written and verbal communication with senior management, the board of directors, executives, and regulatory bodies. Organized training, education, and instruction (e.g., IFRS, credit auditing, Swiss accounting standards, and the Basel Accord on capital and risk diversification).
