Sam Porritt Partner – Audit Financial Services

Sam is an experienced audit Partner, specialising in providing Audit & assurance services to insurers and insurance intermediaries. 

Experience 

Sam has provided Audit & assurance services to the insurance sector for over 20 years and has been a Partner/Responsible Individual since 2012.

He specialises in Audit & assurance services to insurers and insurance intermediaries reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS. He has experience of both general and life insurance, and his clients have included national and international insurance companies, mutuals, friendly societies and insurance intermediaries. He is also experienced in regulatory reporting and acts as an Engagement Quality Reviewer for general and life insurance clients. 

He was formerly the Business Unit Leader of Forvis Mazars’ UK Financial Services and Insurance audit teams and has acted as the Office Audit Leader for another firm’s UK Financial Services audit department.
