Professional Background
Stéphane Pithois is a Partner at Forvis Mazars, within the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) division, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Corporate Finance advisory. He joined Mazars in 2009, contributing to the strengthening of the firm’s M&A capabilities and leading dedicated teams supporting complex transaction processes.
He began his career in M&A in 1995 at KPMG Corporate Finance, where he spent more than a decade developing strong expertise in end-to-end transaction execution, including strategic analysis, valuation, deal structuring, process management, and negotiation support. Over his career, he has participated in more than 40 national and cross-border transactions.
At Forvis Mazars, Stéphane advises business leaders, asset management companies, large corporates, and private equity investors across all stages of their M&A, divestment, and fundraising operations. He has been involved in numerous transactions across a wide range of sectors, including mandates for leading international groups such as Lafarge, Komatsu, and Hays.
He holds a Master’s degree from Université Paris-Dauphine, a DESS in Banking and Finance from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and is a graduate of the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF).
