Forvis Mazars in Luxembourg is pleased to announce the appointment of Oana Bentel, Mostafa Benghazala and Adrian Pelin as Equity Partners.
Oana Bentel
Oana Bentel is a Partner within the Audit department of Forvis Mazars in Luxembourg since 2024, specialising in the audit of large listed groups, and was appointed Equity Partner in December 2025.
With over 20 years of experience, Oana has a strong track record in delivering high-quality audit services to listed clients, supported by in-depth expertise in IFRS accounting and financial reporting requirements, as well as regulatory frameworks applicable to EU Public Interest Entities (EU PIEs) and SEC registrants. She has developed extensive knowledge in various industries, including a deep understanding of the steel and telecommunications industries, through long-term involvement in complex international group audits. A committed professional, Oana is recognised for her technical excellence, project management capabilities, communication skills and leadership, and has extensive experience in leading audit transition processes.
Oana holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
She is a “Réviseur d’entreprises agréé” (Authorised Auditor) in Luxembourg, a member of the Chamber of the Financial Auditors (Romania) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK).

Mostafa Benghazala
Mostafa Benghazala is a Partner within the insurance & reinsurance practice of Forvis Mazars in Luxembourg and was appointed Equity Partner in December 2025. He is also in charge of the firm’s securitisation pool, overseeing audit engagements for securitisation vehicles.
Mostafa has over 18 years of professional experience in audit and consulting, with a strong focus on the insurance, reinsurance and securitisation sectors. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars in 2022, Mostafa developed over 14 years of experience delivering audit services in complex and regulated environments, with a strong focus on sector-specific risks and technical audit challenges.
His portfolio is diversified and includes life and non-life insurance companies, reinsurance undertakings, as well as securitisation vehicles, often involving complex structures and cross-border arrangements.
Mostafa also has extensive experience coordinating with other network offices to ensure efficient audit delivery and consistent quality across jurisdictions. His client portfolio includes entities from major international groups.
Through sustained exposure to complex insurance, reinsurance and securitisation structures, Mostafa has developed deep insight into sector-specific risks and complex audit issues. Adrian Pelin
Adrian Pelin is a Partner within the Audit department of Forvis Mazars in Luxembourg since 2021 and was appointed as Equity Partner in December 2025.
Adrian began his professional career in 2005 in Romania, before relocating to Luxembourg in 2008, where he developed strong expertise in the audit of commercial companies, private equity and real estate structures. He has extensive experience leading audits of both listed and non-listed groups under IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP, and is recognised for his strong engagement leadership and team management capabilities.
Within Forvis Mazars, Adrian plays an active role in the development of the Audit practice and serves a diversified international client portfolio, with particular focus on asset management, including private equity, real estate, regulated and non-regulated investment funds, and management companies, as well as complex international group structures.
He holds a Master’s degree in Audit and Controlling from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK). He became a member of ACCA in 2011, achieved Fellowship status in 2016, and has held the UK Audit Practicing Certificate since 2018. Adrian is also a “Réviseur d’entreprises agréé” (Authorised Auditor) in Luxembourg.
