Women’s Forum

Since 2007, Mazars has been a partner of the Women’s Forum whose purpose is to promote, through dialogue and debate, women’s access to positions of corporate responsibility, in France and internationally.
  • In early 2008, Mazars went to Shanghai for the launch of the first Women’s Forum conference in China, and we will be participating in the second conference in Beijing, in 2009.
  • In September 2008, the Mazars office in Moscow sponsored a breakfast for women directors in Russia, to help encourage the exchange of ideas and best practices.
  • In Deauville, October 2008, we took active part in the Women’s Forum by sponsoring a working breakfast on the theme of professional priorities for 2009 in the light of the current economic situation, and by speaking at the Men’s Corner, where Philippe Castagnac, Mazars Group Executive Board member, talked about corporate diversity.
  • In 2009, for the third consecutive year, Mazars was partnering the Women's Forum which took place in Deauville from 15th - 17th October 2009. Mazars was hosting a lunch debate «Business, states and people: recognizing our new responsibilities finance ».
  • In 2010, for the four year running, Mazars was a partner of the Women’s Forum taking place in Deauville from the 14th to the 16th October 2010. This year, Mazars, also sponsor of the France-Russia cultural season, invited 7 influential Russian Women to participate to the Forum debates.
  • In 2011, Mazars chose to imagine a scenario in which women and men share power. During the Women’s Forum, Mazars presented the book "A women’s world, a better world?" by Muriel de Saint Sauveur (l’Archipel Publisher) which brings together the suggestions of 100 women living in 33 different countries for a new organisation of the world.
  • In 2012, Mazars decided to start with the discovery of Generation Y and, at the Women’s Forum, will present the results of its international survey, "The Y Revolution?", conducted jointly with WoMen’Up association with responses from 1011 young people from 64 different nationalities.

The Women’s Forum provides a context for reflection and debate on the place of women in business and society in general, promoting diversity and international openness, which makes it all the more appropriate for Mazars to support this project

Our partnership with the Women’s Forum has also sparked a surge of discussion and thinking in Mazars offices around the world on the nature of diversity in general, and the development of women’s roles in business and balance between all our personal and professional lives.
