Gadija Jappie Director of Operations

Experience

Gadija started her career with Forvis Mazars (then Baker Musikanth) in 1989 when she joined the accounting department. She was appointed as the Accounting Manager in 1997.

Gadija has accounting experience in clients involved in various sectors/industries, which includes manufacturing, property development, investment holdings, importers, retail, construction, non-profit organisations, restaurants, schools, and clients in the service industry.

She facilitated induction and accounting training for audit and accounting staff.

She re-joined Mazars Moores Rowland in 2004, after a one-year break, as the Audit Administration Manager. She was the lead resource planner locally and managed productivity of the audit staff including drafting policies and SOP’s relevant to the audit department.

In 2013 she was appointed as the Marketing and Events Manager in addition to her role as Audit Administration Manager.

In 2016 she was appointed as the Administration Manager in addition to her role as the Marketing and Events Manager.

In 2017 she was appointed as Director of Operations.

Gadija has gained a wide range of experience over the years in her various roles at Mazars which includes project management, procurement, health and safety, job grading, employment equity, B-BBEE and POPI.
