of the EU in 2019, you are entitled to claim refund for this foreign VAT by means of the Belgian portal

Legal Alert - Beperking op onbelast schenken vanaf 1 december 2020
Vanaf 1 december 2020 zal schenkbelasting (3 of 7% in Vlaanderen en Brussel - 3,3% of 5,5% in Wallonië) verschuldigd zijn over iedere schenking van roerende goederen (geld, effecten, aandelen,.. ) door Belgische rijksinwoners.
Hiermee komt een einde aan de mogelijkheid om onbelast te schenken voor een buitenlandse notaris.
