Kim Matthys Director | Employment Law

Kim is Manager of Mazars Belgium’s legal advisory practice. She has a broad experience in labour law, as well as in GDPR. Over the years she has served large national and international corporate entities on all labour law matters, going from the engagement of new employees to assistance with redundancies, working time issues, policies, compensation and benefits optimizations and labour law aspects of the M&A process. In addition, she also guides clients in the legal implementation of the GDPR in their company.
Kim started her career as an advisor in a consultancy firm in Belgium in 2006 as a labour law advisor of small and medium-sized companies. After gaining experience as an in-house HR Compensation and benefits responsible in a publicly traded company, a legal advisor of a sector federation and freelance labour law specialist, she joined the Forvis Mazars group in 2019.
She is a native Dutch speaker. She also speaks fluently English and French.
