Prepared under the guidance of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Milan, the report is the outcome of more than six months of collaborative efforts by all members of the editorial working committee, comprising multiple Chinese-funded enterprises within the Chamber and professional advisory institutions. Spanning nearly 40,000 words, the report is based on questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews with more than 100 Chinese-funded enterprises operating in Italy and provides a systematic overview of their current development status and emerging trends. Compared with the 2024 edition, the 2025 edition further incorporates industry interviews, case studies, and policy analysis. Beyond data presentation, it places particular emphasis on interpreting the underlying drivers and dynamics, with the aim of offering more valuable and actionable insights and guidance. The sustained growth highlighted in the report underscores the strong commitment of both China and Italy to strengthening bilateral economic and trade cooperation and reflects its long-term strategic importance.
