Professional Background
David began his career in the financial industry in 2004, and started working on banking regulation in 2009.
He joined Forvis Mazars in 2017 as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Affairs, before being promoted to Director in 2020, following the development of a dedicated regulatory doctrine service primarily focused on French clients.
In 2023, he joined the FM Global Regulatory Centre, where he contributes to the leadership of EU banking regulation topics, working closely with teams in the US, UK, and across Europe.
Previous Experience
Before joining Forvis Mazars, David held several senior positions in financial regulation and supervision:
Senior Policy Advisor (5 years) at the French Banking Federation, working on regulatory and supervisory issues with institutions such as:
- ACPR
- European Central Bank (ECB)
- French Treasury
- European Banking Authority (EBA)
- Basel Committee
- Investment firm supervisor (3 years) at the ACPR
Education
David holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Sciences Po Strasbourg and is a certified CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst).
