Procurement & contracts expert

We are looking for a procurement & contracts expert who will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government procurement, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and proficiency in preparing procurement reports and statistics. This role will also involve expertise in contract preparation and the capability to conduct training programs for staff.

Qualifications & experience 

  • A relevant university degree.
  • 10 years of government procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English correspondence.
  • Skills in preparing procurement reports and statistics.
  • Expertise in contract preparation.
  • Capability to conduct training programs.

Key responsibilities 

  • Manage procurement processes from sourcing to contract award.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to obtain favorable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare procurement reports and statistics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Provide expertise in contract preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts.
  • Conduct training programs for staff on procurement processes and contract management best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and contract management.
