Media and news platform expert

We are looking for a media and news platform expert who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our media platforms and news delivery systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital media technologies, audience engagement strategies, and content distribution channels. This role will involve working closely with editorial teams, IT professionals, and external partners to ensure the seamless operation of our media platforms and the delivery of timely and relevant news content to our audience.

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, media studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital media, news platform management, or related roles.
Deep understanding of digital media technologies, including content management systems, analytics platforms, and social media tools.
Proven track record of successfully managing media platforms and delivering engaging content to audiences.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

Manage and optimize our media platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and social media channels.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance audience engagement and retention.
Monitor key performance metrics and analytics to track the effectiveness of our media platforms and content.
Work closely with editorial teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of news content.
Collaborate with IT professionals to troubleshoot technical issues and implement platform upgrades and enhancements.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in digital media and news delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including content syndicators and distribution platforms.
Provide training and support to staff on media platform usage and best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for digital media and news delivery.
