Gan Linhui Associate Director, Audit & Assurance
Gan Linhui is an Associate Director and a key member in the Audit & Assurance (Technical & Training) team. Having been with the firm for over 10 years, Linhui brings extensive external audit experience, specialising in accounting and auditing standards.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore, Linhui transitioned into the accounting profession, driven by her strong interest in problem solving and analytical thinking. She went on to further her studies to become a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and subsequently, a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
Linhui is well-versed in a diverse range of technical and industry topics including revenue recognition, business combination, share based payments and group audit methodology. She has delivered key training programmes for both internal and external audiences, covering areas such as “Areas of Focus for Auditing in 2026” for the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), the Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (FRS) 109, 115, 116, 118 and other essential technical updates.
In her role, Linhui has been instrumental in guiding the Audit & Assurance team through major regulatory changes in recent years. This includes leading the implementation of revised auditing standards such as Singapore Standard on Auditing (SSA) 315 (Revised 2021) and SSA 600 (Revised), where she oversaw the training of the audit team and ensured consistent adoption across engagement teams.
She is actively involved in the planning, preparation and delivery of training programmes, developing comprehensive learning materials and facilitating sessions through both physical and virtual formats. Her commitment to uplifting audit quality and technical capability continues to make her a key driver of professional development within the organisation.
With her vast experience and in-depth knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements, Linhui will continue to provide practical solutions to our teams, lead project initiatives and strengthen our expertise within the Technical & Training Team to further expand on our service offerings to our clients.
