Goh Hong Chuan, Partner, Financial Advisory, highlights financial services as one of the key focus sectors for 2026 and shares that Singapore’s Equity Market Development Programme (EQDP) could boost late-stage deals.

Global private equity and venture capital deal value rebounded strongly in 2025, rising 42.57% year-on-year to US$468.5 billion, driven by momentum in later-stage investments and middle-market transactions. Early- and late-stage funding rounds also increased globally, up 17.6% from 2024.
