Naomie Fourie Assistant Manager - Tax Consulting

Naomie started her journey with Forvis Mazars in April 2009 in tax compliance for individuals, Trusts and Companies. Prior to Forvis Mazars, she worked for SARS for 18 years.

Beginning her career in 2016 as a Tax Consultant, she is specialising in personal tax compliance for private clients and global mobility.  Naomie has developed extensive expertise in navigating the complexities of tax regulations and ensuring compliance for her clients.

Naomie is an accomplished tax professional currently serving as an Assistant Tax Manager at Forvis Mazars in South Africa. With a robust career spanning over 33 years in the tax industry, Naomie has developed a comprehensive skill set that includes PAYE due diligence, tax compliance for private clients and global mobility, dispute resolution, tax emigrations, tax advisory and PAYE.

In addition to her professional achievements, Naomie is a registered Tax Advisor (SA) with the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) and a registered tax practitioner with the South African Revenue Service (SARS). Her academic credentials are equally impressive, having completed her Higher Diploma in Financial Accounting in 2001 through The Institute of Administration and Commerce of SA, her postgraduate level module in Advanced Taxation at the University of Pretoria in 2019 and Professional Certificate in Payroll Taxes and Administration through the Tax Faculty in 2021.  This has equipped her with deep insights into the dynamic field of taxation, further enhancing her ability to navigate complex income tax and PAYE issues.
